Rayelle Davis is a licensed clinical professional counselor. She works in private practice and specializes in treating relational trauma, ADHD, and addiction. She is also a doctoral candidate in the counselor education and supervision program at Duquesne University. Her research focuses on mental health and rural areas.

A nontraditional student, she earned her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Duquesne University, her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and her associate degree in psychology from Allegany College of Maryland. As an adjunct faculty member, she has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate counseling courses. She is also a faculty trainer for the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Rayelle is passionate about mentoring new counselors. She is the author of “Imposter Syndrome No More: An Empowering Career Guide for Professional Counselors.” This book was written with the new counselor in mind to help them navigate the stage between graduate school and professional practice. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.

Davis is a paid member of the Red Ventures freelance Education Integrity Network.
